The purpose of the present assessment is to analyse the appropriateness, effectiveness, strengths, weaknesses, challenges and critical success factors of KEPA’s “information officer cooperation”, i.e. sending KEPA’s individual employees to work in Southern partner organisations. KEPA’s information officer co-operation with the Project for Ecological Recovery (PER) under the Foundation for Ecological Recovery (FER) in Thailand and the Indonesian Society for SocialTransformation (INSIST) in Indonesia are used as cases for the assessment.
Based on the experiences with PER/FER and INSIST, it can be concluded that this mode of work can be a useful tool for co-operating with individual Southern partner organisations.
